A player bets 10. You want to raise. You hold one chip worth much more than the bet, and you push it forward without speaking.
What do you do?
Push the big chip forward silently and hope it counts as a raise.
Say 'raise to 40' clearly, then put out your chips in one motion.
Slide out a small stack, watch the reaction, then go back for more chips.
